#CapeTown in the #WesternCape of #SouthAfrica is my stomping ground and a place I love to call home. Here are a few pic's of the iconic City Hall on the #GrandParade from which #Nelson #Mandela gave his first speech as a free man after being released from prison following 27 years of incarceration. You will notice the iconic #LionsHead peeking out from behind the building.

SUNSET COCKTAILS AT THE MARINA

Gordon's Bay on the False Bay coast of Cape Town, South Africa is a little piece of paradise. The deck at the Gordon's Bay Yacht Club is the perfect place to sip cocktails on the waterfront. I love sitting on the deck and gazing out at this. The pictures say it best.

THE VILLAGE IN THE VALLEY

Franschoek, the picturesque village in the valley, nestled on the slopes of the Franschoek Pass, is situated in the Cape Winelands of South Africa. The French village filled with flair, food and style is the epicurean capital of South Africa and a firm favourite with foodies from around the world.

There was a time when I worked (it was play really if truth be told) at the premier, youth rock radio station in #SouthAfrica. This was groundbreaking radio at a time dj's (deejays) where still called announcers. We shattered the mould and created superstars who were, and continue to be, household names in the cultural and media landscape of South Africa. Here they are. Spot the STARS ...
